The motor control system maintains a constant burr speed regardless of coffee resistance or grind size changes, enabling precise dosing by tracking burr rotations accurately instead of relying on a timer.

Enhanced reliability, usability, and speed are achieved through a belt-driven burr carrier that dissipates motor-generated heat, an intuitive interface inspired by La Marzocco espresso machines, and button-free operation that utilizes the portafilter's electrical conductivity.
