Using the same components found in Synesso's commercial espresso machines, the ES1 utilizes MVP (manual volumetric programming) technology to give you the best user experience possible. With this feature, you can choose to pull your shots manually, choose a pre-programmed recipe, or create and save your own recipes with pressure and flow-profiles. You can view and tweak the parameters of each shot on the screen above the group and make changes as needed.
The ES1 also boasts a plethora of innovative features that make it stand alone in the home espresso world. The 3 liter water reservoir is easy to access, and there's no need to remove any parts in order to refill your machine. Furthermore, if you choose to connect to a larger water source, such as a 5 gallon jug, the ES1 creates its own water-line pressure, so there's no need for complicated, external solutions. Synesso makes at-home espresso flexible and simple.

When selecting the premium line with magnesium, we recommend a water meter so you know when it's time to change your filter as magnesium will show as a solid on a test strip.
